WELLNESS CENTRE - Provides complete health & wellness care through Ayurveda & Yoga.

Ayurveda & Yoga are the ancient sister sciences sharing similar goal… to enhance the well-being of body, mind and spirit.

Wellness & Health are co-related… one is incomplete with out the other. Whole is to understand one’s self and nurture the self selflessly. Through the guidelines of Ayurveda & Yoga the first approach is help you understand yourself.

“Prakrti “ is an individual's unique constitution in Ayurvedic Terms.

Your Ayurvedic Doctor/ Practitioner helps you understand your “Prakrti “ and how to nurture it with right diet/food, lifestyle, seasonal care & self-care. If additional care in prevention & treatment of diseases is required various herbal remedies and therapies such as rejuvenation, cleansing or pacifying, are suggested.

Ayurvedic Consultation

During your consultation, an Ayurvedic physician will perform various traditional diagnosis & prognosis methods that mainly include pulse reading & visual assessments such as eye, tongue and nail readings to determine balance, or your doshic state and shall guide you accordingly through lifestyle & dietary management. If required, the physician will advise you about Ayurvedic herbal preparations and rejuvenating Ayurvedic Therapies.

In chronic conditions, a detoxification program called "panchakarma" (five-fold detox program) is encouraged by the Ayurvedic practitioner.

Ayurvedic Recommendations

Based on your consultation, individualized recommendations are made based on the individual's health condition, body type and the seasons. Recent scientific advances regarding specific conditions are also incorporated into the regimen when applicable.

Nutrition
Our health largely depends on how we nourish ourselves. Ayurveda teaches that we should learn to recognize the six tastes, which are present in our foods to help guide us in our dietary choices that will vary according to our body type and the seasons.

Ayurvedic Self Massage
For many individuals, Ayurveda recommends a daily oil massage to enliven and balance the physiology. You will be instructed how to prepare appropriate oil for you, and will be given directions on how to properly perform the massage.

Exercise
Different body types require different quantities and types of exercise to remain healthy. The appropriate type and amount of exercise will be prescribed according to your individual needs.

Herbs
Ayurvedic herbal preparations strengthen deficiencies and eliminate excesses. Their primary action is to balance and help integrate the energetic aspects of metabolic processes. In addition, an impressive and growing body of research now supports the efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines for many specific conditions.

Yoga Asanas & Pranayama
These related disciplines are often useful in opening obstructed energy channels and bring strength and balance to the physiology. Yoga asanas (postures) are taught privately or in small groups (10-15 students) and Pranayama is available to appropriate patients to help correct specific imbalances.

Mind-Body Techniques
Ayurvedic doctor/practitioner may recommend various techniques aimed at strengthening the mind, improving the mind-body connection, and reducing mental stress.

Daily & Seasonal Routines
For optimal health, the biological rhythms of the human physiology need to be kept in balance with the daily and seasonal cycles in nature. You will receive instructions for varying your daily routine to better harmonize with these natural cycles.
