Teaching Faculty

Ismat Nathani
The Director and Founder of CAISH, with a very special background in Nadi Vigyan. She graduated from India in Naturopathy and did her post graduate in the UK. She has pioneered the wisdom of Nadi Vigyan in the west and worked extensively with very prominent doctors and experts in the field of health care.

Nitin Shah
A key faculty member, who has been teaching Ayurvedic Medicine at CAISH since its establishment. He is one of the few Ayurvedic MD’s in North America, a graduate from Gujarat Ayurveda University, and traveled to Varanasi for in-depth study of Yoga and Ayurvedic Surgery. He has vast knowledge and experience in the fields of Ayurveda Herbology, Ayurvedic lifestyle management and dietetics.

Andrea Olivera
An Ayurvedic Spa Specialist and Practitioner, one of the first to bring Ayurvedic awareness to Canada, and has studied extensively with many teachers in India, USA and Canada. She serves as a faculty & associated member of CAISH teaching Ayurvedic spa therapies and Ayurvedic introductory courses across Canada.

Abtin Obar
A medical doctor & professor from Tehran University Iran, practicing as a chronic pain specialist in Canada. He joined CAISH recently to teach Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.

Sauda Jelic
A well-known Physiotherapist with expertise in Bobath and Affolter therapy by Stroke and Head trauma patients for over 25 years in Europe, has been continually studying Ayurveda since 2000 among Professors from Germany, India and Canada. At CAISH she teaches Ayurvedic Wellness and Spa Management.

Marie Hache
An integrative Yoga practitioner with years of training in Ayurveda with well-known teachers, a graduate of CAISH as an Ayurvedic Therapist, studying Nadi Vigyan and Masters in Immunobiology, She is an assistant teacher at CAISH, facilitating pre-requisite & integrative studies.

Xenia Splawinski (Ananda Shakti)
A Yoga Instructor, DNA Core Pattern Practitioner & Holistic Healer who has a passion for self-exploration and the facilitation of others on their path to wholeness. Honoured to study with numerous masterful teachers, at CAISH she is facilitating and developing programs in Yoga & Ayurveda.

International Faculty

Dr Arun Chandan
An Ayurvedic Doctor specializing in medicinal plants and serves as Director for Environment & Rural Awakening (Himalayan Mountains in India). He is the prime faculty member of CAISH for training and arranging herbal study tours in the Himalayan Mountains.

Dr Ish Sharma
An Ayurvedic doctor and researcher, who heads the Department of Panchakarma SSMD Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital Moga, Punjab, India is teaching panchkarma and other advanced programs at CAISH.

Management Faculty

Nicole Mahabir
A graduate from CAISH as an Ayurvedic practitioner with a background in business & marketing is serving on CAISH educational management helping develop general operations and supporting students needs.
